That’s How the Malayalis Do It!
Say Yeahh!! **crowds…say yeahhh***
Okay Whatever.
Big Weekend this weekend. Joemon’s moving into his new home. July 4th is going down. And it’s a beautiful weekend (weather-wise) in DC!
So how do you bring auspicious joy and good cheer in your new home? Here’s some advice from Tommy:
Do the following:
1. Warm Milk (It must be whole milk – none of these 1% 2% milk..oh yeah it must be cow milk not goat, dog or human. You can substitute cat milk in emergency)
2. Drink it slowly and carefully. (Milk may be too hot)
3. Pray that all booths(Chegathans) from the house go away to the neighbours house.
4. Clean up the area and do the dishes.
End of Ceremony. Total time expected: 20 minutes

Easter Holiday Mallu Fun
Easter was fun, we went to the Malayali mass thingie where Jommy took pictures of us on his cell during the sermon. Thanks to Francis Uncle, I got to be the money collecter during mass, which was actually really fun:) Jommy will one day upload those pictures, in the meantime, here are mine!
It was also Rony’s Birthday the day before, which was fun. Good times were had. He’s 24!!!!

New Year’s Eve Chi-town 2006
No, not Chinatown fool! Chi-town; also known as shy-town or the town of chee or that place where Devon Street is.
Acha acha, so for the year 2006, me and rony and jommy drove up to Chee-ka-go, and hung out with some of my friends. Jen, Rama, Rani and Amardip. The high point was Buckingham fountain, the fireworks were spectacular; and the view of the Chicago skyline was glorious (even if we couldn’t see Devon street). The low point was getting into a mini-fight with the parking garage attendent who refused to let us park in the garage. Grrr that man to hell. Acha so, here are the pictures, some are duplicates because multiple people had cameras. It was a regular papparazzi:)
Also, here are Jommy’s pictures from NYE 2005 when we went to Toronto. For nostalgia’s sake. A stroll down the lane of maimoory…ladida..dum dum..
